Eclectic Tastes of the Boardwalk

eclectic tastes of the boardwalk

When you think of a Jersey Shore boardwalk, what comes to mind? Chances are, you immediately think of a sausage sandwich, an ice-cold lemonade, or even salt-water taffy. What makes Asbury Park’s boardwalk so unique is the variety of vendors and cuisine that you can find. If you are looking for a truly different culinary experience, here are some places we think you will find interesting.

Location: South end of the boardwalk, across the street from the Empress.

Cubacan is a boardwalk staple that offers fresh Cuban cuisine and satisfying cocktails. For seafood lovers, the Branzino a la Planxa (sea bass) is a big hit, while the Churrasco (skirt steak) is popular amongst landlubbers. Last year, Cubacan opened up a rum and tequila bar that serves ceviche. The best part about Cubacan? It’s open year round.

Korean Tacos from MOGO
