Asbury Park Zombie Walk: What You Need to Know

Asbury Park Zombie Walk

Every year, thousands of zombies descend on Asbury Park for the annual zombie walk. This event held the Guinness World Record™ for the “World’s Largest Gathering of Zombies,” back in 2010 and 2013. The ninth annual walk will take place on Saturday, October 1 starting at 4 p.m., with festivities before the walk starting at 10 a.m. Here’s a rundown of the day.

Don’t have your own makeup? No problem! Go to Convention Hall to get your zombie makeover by professional make-up artists. You’ll be able to choose between two different designs.

You’ll also be able to buy souvenirs in front of Paramount Theater & Convention Hall. All of this takes place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. No registration is required!

The Walk

Zombie Walk

All zombies will meet in front of Convention Hall at 4 p.m. for the walk. From there, the route will take you down towards the Carousel House, and then head up Cookman Avenue towards Press Plaza (intersection of Cookman Ave., Mattison Ave., & Emory St.). The walk is approximately one mile.

All zombies are invited to enjoy live music throughout downtown and attend the after-party at Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits on Main St.
